Brooks Dagman is restocking his program with a mix of veteran rowers such as Olympic Festival medalists Daniel Tealdi and Warner Bonner, along with several promising young rowers from last season's PCRC silver medalist Novice program. With the mens roster set at thirty athletes, the selection process for the top two eights will be very intense this season. Both the varsity and novice women's squads showed early success in the pre-season, both finishing second at the 1995 Newport Autumn Rowing Festival, beating teams from USC, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, Long Beach State, UC Irvine, UCLA, and San Diego State, among others. The varsity team returns starters in Lysanne Ray, Stacy Bunten, and Jennifer Varsak. Senior Michele Nowicki rejoins the squad after sitting out the 1995 sea– son due to injury. Filling out the varsity squad are jun– iors Jennifer Babic and Dale Amorosia, sophomores Kristen Petersen, Colleen Roach, and Stephanie Sirvent, and freshmen Amber Himes, Lindsay Thomas and Anne Maas.
