We need all be reminded periodi- cally that bishops are the successors of the Apostles, that they have their authority direct from Jesus Christ. T he essence of obedience consists in seeing God in the person of our epis- copal superior, any other type of allegiance is slavery. From the com- mands and advice of ou:.- Bishop we learn the Will of God in our regard. Each parish has been assigned a quota in this all-important charities drive.
