McElvain led the Cowgirls to three post-season appearances and a third place finish in the 1998Women's Col– lege World Series. While at Oklahoma State, she earned All-Big XII academic honors while attaining a Business Administration degree with an em– phasis in Marketing. Additionally, she earned the OSU Community Service Contribution Award (1997-98); the NCAA Leadership Award (1998); and was a four-year SAAC Representa– tive, serving as SAAC President in her senior year.

No stranger to the USO Athletic De– partment, prior to her appointment as softball coach she was Assistant Sports Information Director for a year-and-a-half. Athletic Excellence - 24 Athletes Earning PCSC All-Conference Honors - 2 PCSC Freshman of the Year Honors (2004 & 2007) - 1PCSC Scholar Athlete of the Year (2006) - Led program to first ever victory over cross-town rival San Diego State (2005) - Ranked Victories over# 10 CS Fullerton (2002), #20 Oregon State (2003), # 17 San Diego State (2008) - 100 Win Club (April 16, 2007) Academic Excellence - 100% NCAA Academic Progress Rating for the past four years (Highest in USO Athletic Department & Top 10% Nationwide) - Graduated EVERY senior student-athlete that has gone through program - 44 Student-Athletes Earning All-Academic Conference Honors - One Academic All-American Student-Athlete
