Jakubczyk lives in Scottsdale, Ariz., and has formed a law partnership with fellow USD alumnus Michaal V. Sauarina. John and his wife, Petra, had their sixth child, Stanley, in January 1992. John is on the board of trustees of Ville de Marie Academy, a newly formed Catholic private school. . .. Charyl (Smith) Mackay lives in Port Hueneme, Calif., where she is a program/systems analyst for the Naval Construction Batallion Center.... Ja-Ann L. RassiHa is associate dean of nursing education at San Diego City College, and is a doctor– al candidate at USD's Philip Y. Hahn School of Nursing. ... Margaret Wiadawar (M.Ed. '86) lives in El Cajon, Calif., where she has been a teacher at Academy of Our Lady of Peace for 16 years. GRADUATE AND LAW SCHOOL ALUMNI Jamas Edward Stant Jr. (M.A. '76, M.Ed. '78) is in his 17th year as a sec– ondary teacher working with LEP stu– dents and his eighth year as head varsity coach for girls' basketball at Oceanside (Calif.) High School. Grimard and his wife, Celeste, whom he married in 1984, live in Mon– rovia, Calif., with their four children. James is manager of a public accounting company, Michael D. Pietro, CPA. GRADUATE AND LAW SCHOOL ALUMNI Marilyn (Ragars) Knaaland (M.A.) won the Seniors Tournament on the "Jeop– ardy" television show, July 12-23. She won $25,000 from the tournament, and plans a trip to France and a donation to the Friends of Cats and Humane Society.... Madalina (Bacha) Lunda (M.Ed.) lives in the Houston, Texas, suburb of Bellaire, where she is a self– teacher and administrator for the Houston Independent School District. In 1989, she became certified as a graphologist (handwriting analyst). She writes: "It opened up a thrilling avenue for further human understanding."... Halana (Taihlaam) Mandall (M.A.T.) lives in La Jolla, Calif., with Alex and their two children, Torrey, 15, and Jon, 11.
