UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Halhlaan (Schwaizar) Smith recently started her 15th year of teaching fourth grade, currently at St. Rose of Lima School in Chula Vista, Calif. She and her husband, Ray, commander of the Naval Special Warfare Command (SEALS), have three sons. He expected to earn his doctorate from Idaho State last fall .... Corinna (Dalley) Halana lives in Vista, Calif., where she is interning as a mar– riage and family therapist on staff at St. Francis Church....Wilsan E.D. Shephard and his wife, Lola, live in Coronado, Calif. He works for Solar Turbines Inc., and writes that he looks forward to retiring at the end of this year. UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI David J. Dubia lives in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he is a program manager for Allied Signal's Garrett Engine Division. He has a 15-year-old son, Darin, and a 16-year-old daughter, Shannon. He is also director of the Cadillac LaSalle Club-Sonoran Desert Region... . Lynn (Conrad) HallaH writes, "Our oldest daughter, Kristin, was married in June to Eric Lieb. She moved to Tampa, Fla., where she is a Montessori teacher. Eric works for GTE. G.T. graduated from Duke University in May and was com– missioned an ensign in the Navy. He is in Rhode Island for school before reporting to his ship in Jacksonville, Fla., sometime in April. Traci is a fresh– man at the University of Dayton in Ohio." Lynn and her husband, Grant, live in Elmhurst, Ill... . Joanna F. (Sady) Kozlowski is a homemaker in North Little Rock, Ark. She writes that her daughter, Kristina, is attending the University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock and her son, Carl, has begun a master's program at the Univer– sity of Texas-Austin....Hathy (Slaves) McDannall and her attorney husband, Mike, live in La Habra Heights, Calif. Three of their children graduated from USD and a fourth currently is attend– ing... . Jaraldina (Rack) McLaughlin and her husband, Jack, have retired to the Texas hill country, near Wimberley. Their children, Michelle and Mark, are both students at Trinity University in San Antonio....Playwright and actress Mary (Williams) Schaller lives in Burke, Va., where she writes that four of her plays are currently published by Dramatic Publishing Co. and are performed both in the United States and Canada. She is listed in the Library of Congress.... Tari (Walshe) Walla writes that her daughter is taking her to Hawaii for her 50th birthday present. Tori lives in Bettendorf, Iowa, and is a guidance counselor at Alleman High School in Rock Island, Ill.

UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Anna Maria Glawak (M.Ed. '76) is a real estate agent with Prudential in La Jolla, Calif., and is also active in the La Jolla community. She is a trustee of the La Jolla Town Council, chairperson of the council's beautification committee, director of the La Jolla Historical Society, and sponsor for the La Jolla Easter Hat Parade. Her most recent vacations have been to the former Soviet Union. 1973

UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI J. Bruca Cahill and Mary (Haack) Cahill '74 live in Escondido, Calif., where Bruce is a sales specialist for Mallinck– rodt Medical. They have two daughters, ages 9 and 1... . Patty (Ragan) Gallagher and her husband, Kevin, live in the San Diego area, where Patty is a training director for Girl Scouts of America, San Diego Imperial Council. She is a past board member of the Sacred Heart Alumnae. GRADUATE AND LAW SCHOOL ALUMNI Maj. Gen. William M. Matz (M.A.) is serving in the U.S. Army as the deputy commanding general, I Corps and Fort Lewis, Wash. He served in Vietnam and in Operation Just Cause in Panama.
