Top Workspaces Award for leadership in the small-firm category. Bravo-Karimi was recognized in Top 25: 2025 Women San Diego Super Lawyers and elected Fleet Science Center board of directors chair. HUGHES NAMED A “POWER PLAYER” Kudos to USD School of Law alumnus Bradford Hughes ’06 (JD) for being recognized as a San Diego “Power Player” by Modern Luxury magazine. An equity member at Clark Hill, Hughes is an accomplished trial lawyer who also counsels
commercial and transportation businesses on the management and avoidance of risk. Hughes said that creative thinking and constant innovation set him apart in his indus try. “I know my clients’ businesses deeply which allows me to engineer solutions to their evolving legal and business challenges. Clients call me first because I truly understand the real-world impact on their operations.” Named a 2023 Business of Law Visionary by the Los Angeles Times , Hughes collaborates with clients to achieve profit-maximizing results, including artful management of client time, resources and human capital, resulting in client saving/recovery of tens of millions of dollars.

Hughes is an active member of USD School of Law’s Campaign Committee and a Law Firm Challenge Captain for Clark Hill. The Law Firm Challenge is designed to strengthen the connection between USD alumni, law firms, legal departments and USD School of Law. Challenge participants strive to achieve 100% alumni giving in their respective organizations, providing critical support to the law school and supporting our students and programs.
