ROTARACT Rotaract, a community service club that provides its members with professional development and variou social activities, takes pride in the aid it distributes to the members of surrounding communities. Their motto "Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of duty", has resulted in projects such as the construction of a school in Tijuana dumps, beach clean ups, and involvment with the group Responsibility, which net– works Christmas gifts to those living in the Tijuana dumps . Yet, in addition to the gratification the mem– bers receive from helping others, they are also afforded opportunities to listen to career guidance speakers, chances to attend social activities sponsored by Rotaract, and the option of participating in valuable outings such as "Shadow a Professional Day" . Basi– cally, Rotaract has proven to be the ideal club for those students who wish to lend a hand to the needy while making a career choice. SACRED HEART CLUB

The Sacred Heart Club was ongi– nally an organization for students whose parents graduated from Sacred Heart schools or those students who attended Sacred Heart. The club has now ex– tended itself to include everyone who wishes to become a member. The major project of the club is a Tijuana Housebuilding Weekend in the spring semester. Members spend the year planning and raising funds for this project that helps families in need.
