AWC The Alcaic Women's Club is a group that provides a special service to USD. It is their job to represent the University students duringpublic andconstituent rel­ ation events of the school.By bringingthe University to the outside community the Alcald Womencan provide the service of educating people of the interest anddedi­ cation ofthe students of USD in helping those around them. The members of the club have learned of the extensive commitment of our administrators in providing for the superior quality of our University. AMA The American Marketing Association provides a link between the campus and the professsional San Diego business community forthose students interested in marketing and advertising. The AMA organizes many events including speakers from the local business commu­ nities. Workingclosely withthe SanDiego professional chapter of AMA,the students are given many opportunites to become activley involved inSanDiego businesses as well as being able to attend dinner/ meetings andparlies throughout the year.

BACCHUS

BACCHUS, which stands for Boost Alcohol Conciousness Concerning the Health of UniversityStudents, isa nation­ al organization whichwas established to promote responsible drinking. The chap­ ter here at USD has the largest member­ ship and student involvement in the Western region. Bacchus is a social club open to anyone who wants to promote responsible drinking.
