startup costs. I ensured that owner involvement, competition, and long-term scalability were factored into the analysis. This helped maintain a balanced perspective and confidence in my most desirable choice, the pilates studio. I applied the ADKAR model of change to provide a structured approach to re-evaluating the decision and adapting the project's direction. Like the SWOT analysis I have this model fully documented in a previous submission and will provide a more condolences version here to highlight the important information. Awareness and Desire : The SWOT analysis and market research helped me to identify a need to pivot away from a short-term profit view and go towards my desire for long-term ownership. I reviewed the decision tree and realized that alternative models, particularly the Pilates studio, aligned more closely with both long-term growth potential. Knowledge: Knowledge was gained by revising the previous evaluations of each business and reassessing the data I had already collected weighing the different factors differently than before. Ability: Ability to implement the change came from the fact that the new knowledge shows the pilates studio as the more favorable business opportunity. The alignment of this across the different frameworks reinforced my ability to implement this change in my decision. Reinforcement: The updates to my models show the pilates studio as my most favorable choice therefore providing reinforcement to my decision to change direction. The table below shows a timeline as shown in the Gantt chart above, but shows some more specific deliverables associated with the milestones of this project. Tracking activities in this manner helped to visualize my goals and deliverables through the course of this project.
