6.Feasibility Analysis and Solution Selection

During the brainstorming phases of this project, I ultimately decided upon 4 different solutions. These solutions are simply 1. Purchase the Nutrition Store, 2. Purchase the Pilates Studio, 3. Purchase the Physical Therapy Practice, and 4. Do not purchase any of the businesses or do nothing. These initial results then translated into the input for my decision making frameworks. Decision making frameworks, simply put, are methods by which you can break down different components of your alternatives to help render a decision. They essentially provide a level of structure to guide you into a decision. The two frameworks that I exercised were the SWOT analysis and the decision tree analysis. Both of these frameworks were comprehensively documented in my previous submission, but I will provide the condensed versions in this final paper. SWOT - Nutrition Supplement Store Strengths: High Demand, Recurring Customer Base, Low Labor Costs, and Potential for E-Commerce Integration Weaknesses: Highly Competitive Market, Substantial Inventory Costs, Dependent on Retail Opportunities: Growing Trend for Health and Wellness, Strategic Partnerships, and Differentiation Threats: Economic Downturns, and Price Sensitivity Due to Competition SWOT - Pilates Studio Strengths: High-Profit Potential, Recurring Revenue, Strong Market Growth, and Customer Loyalty Weaknesses: High Costs, Member Retention Challenges, Quality Instructor Dependence Opportunities: Expanding Services, Growing Trend for Health and Wellness, Strategic Location Advantage, Social Media Promoting Threats: Economic Sensitivity, High Competition
