The Day of Silence took place April, 16, 2008, bringing atten- tion to anti-LGBT name- calling, bullying and harassment. The goal of the Day of Silence is to make schools safer for all students, regardless of sexua l orientation and gender identity/ expression . Promoting tolerance and positive change.
