ASSISTANT COACH THIRD SEASON

Lucas Curtolo enters his third season as San Diego's top assistant coach . Curtolo, a standout collegiate goalkeeper at UC San Diego , amassed an impres– sive coaching resume after graduating with a B.S. in Communications from UCSD in 2000 . He guided San Diego Surf's Under 16 club program to a National

Championship in 2003. His outstanding coaching was recognized with State Coach of the Year awards from the NSCAA and the California State Coaches Association. The Surf Club program tabbed him as the 2003 Coach of the Year, as his Under 16 and Under 13 squads won Regional Championships. From 2000-02 he served as the head coach of nearby La Costa Canyon High School while also assisting at his alma mater UC San Diego. During his collegiate days, Curtolo led the Tritons to the NCAA Re– gional Finals as a senior and ranks second all-time on the school's career shutout list.

Ass/STANT COACH THIRD SEASON

Theresa Wagner brings a wealth of soccer experi– ence to San Diego's coaching staff and begins her third season at Alcala Park. After a storied collegiate playing career at the University of Washington, Wag– ner played for the Seattle Sounders and the San Jose Cyber Rays of the WUSA, claiming a WUSA

National Championship with San Jose in 2001. Wagner earned All-Pacific Coast Con– ference honors in each of her four years at Washington . She was also a three-time All Academic Pac-10 selection while earning her B.A. in Business with a 3.5 GPA. As a se– nior at Washington, Wagner garnered NSCAA Scholar Athlete All-American accolades, named to the second team All-West Region Under 13 club program to the Regional and State Championships in 2003.
