What is your favorite food in general or pre-game meal? I love Mexican food! My roommates and I always take trips to Old Town and bring back a whole bunch of handmade tortillas! What is your favorite animal? A triceratops will always be my favorite animal, even though dinosaurs are extinct. Zebras are a close second. Where is your favorite place to eat at USD? La Paloma definitely has the best sandwiches on campus! I love everything about the USD experience. School is challenging but interesting, softball is a lot of fun, and the people are so easy to get along with! Name somewhere that you want to visit that you've never been to and why? I really want to visit Australia because the beaches look beautiful, and I love Australian accents! High School: Wineinger played 2nd base at Archbishop Mitty High School located in San Jose, CA ... Her freshman year she received the best defense award and the following three years, her team was WCAL and CCS champions ... Her senior year, she made the 2nd team all-league. She also played on two club teams, San Jose Sting and West Bay Nuggets. Personal: Born on February 4, 1990 in Mission Viejo, California to Jeff and Sylvia Wineinger .. . Also recruited by Santa Clara University ... Chose to come to USD not only because of its great location, ~ but also because of the school's involvement with the community .. . She is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. What do you enjoy most about the USD Experience?

Why did you choose to attend USD? I chose to attend USD because of the location, the weather, the view, and to be close to my loved ones. What is your philosophy on life? Hard work always pays off. Who is your role model and why? My dad because he has always pushed me to never settle on just average in any aspect of my life. What do you enjoy most about the USD Experience? Living away from home and feeling like I have two families. Name somewhere that you want to visit that you've never been to and why? Ireland because I'm Irish and would like to experience my heritage High School: Hensley was a catcher for Patrick Henry High School located in San Diego ... As a freshman she was put on the 2nd team all league ... For the next three years she was on 1st team all league ... Her senior year she received the Female Scholar Athlete of the Year award ... Her club team was the San Diego Breakers ... She also played volleyball in high school. Personal: Born on January 10, 1990 in San Diego, California to Michael and Tracey Hensley ... Also recruited by San Diego State, Georgia, Iowa State, Penn State, UC Santa Barbara, and Dartmouth ... Chose to come to USO for the location and the team ... Majoring in Marketing.
