2001: Played in 28 games with 21 starts. Batted .254 with 17 hits and 12 RBIs. Had a big day against Concordia on February 16th going 3-for-4 with I run, 4 RBIs and a double. Totaled four multi-hit games.

Prep: Prepped at Quartz Hill High School where she was a three-time First Team Go lden League se lection. She batted .365 and earned the Outstanding Pl ayer award in her senior campaign. Salazar batteC: .320 in her junior season, .275 in her sophomore year and led her team to a 1998 Division 11 C. I.F. Championship. While playing travel ball with So. Cal Stealth, she posted an impressive .320 batting average. Olaya also lettered in vol leyball and soccer at Quartz High School. .. she was the captain of the soccer team.

Personal: Earned a USO Merit Scholarship.. . Chose USO because of its location and academics. Also recruited by CS Bakersfield, Cal Baptist and Cal Lutheran. Born on June 22, 1982 in Monterey Park, CA. Parents are David and Yolanda Salazar. Business Administration major and Spanish minor.

Prep: Attended Notre Dame High School and lettered in softba ll fo r four years. Earned A ll-Mission League honors and Coach's award while batting .300 in her senior campa ign. Earned Most In spirational award wh il e leading her team to a 20-9 record, second place finish in league and a semifinal appearance in the playoffs. McGee also lettered in vo lleyball and water polo at Notre Dame High School. .. Earned MVP and All -League honors in water polo and the Coach's award in volleyball. She was named Notre Dame Athlete of the Year for all four years.
