Named to the WISLAII-Academ ic Team. 2000: Appeared in 44 games for the Toreros in her freshman season. Co ll o recorded 2 1 hits, 11 RBI , three run s, two doubl es and two trip les. She posted two multi-hit games, versus Long Beach State (2 -fo r-3) and Azusa Pacific (2 -for-3) . Col lo batted .1 98 and ta lli ed a solid .970 fie lding percentage.

Prep: Attended La Costa Canyon High School and lettered fo ur years in softball. In her senior year, Co llo was named San Diego Union-Tribune Athlete of the Month, Coca-Co la Player of the Year, Avocado League Player of the Year and Union-Tri bune Scho lar Ath lete of the Year.
