A Message From President Hughes The men's basketball program is integral to the University's athletic endeavors, just as the athletic program is integral to our view of education - which is that education should develop the whole person. Th is program moved from NCAA Division II to Division I just two years ago, and each year has seen increasing strength and competitive capabilities in the USO team The University is proud of the team 's accom– plishments, and pleased to support the program in every way possible, including scholarship aid to our athletes, recogni– tion of the values of the program, and pro– motion of intercollegiate athletics. I believe our USO team will be receiving some national attention this year, and I look forward to watching the season' events unfold.
