Paula Morreale ‘09 (BA) stands beneath Torrey Pines , created by artist Nova Jiang, evoking San Diego’s iconic coastal trees. The piece crowns the ticketing hall of San Diego International Airport’s new Terminal 1, which opened in September 2025. As Senior Environmental Specialist at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, Morreale oversees greenhouse gas emissions, sustainability reporting and works with airlines and concessions tenants to reduce the airport’s environmental footprint.
