Monsignor Dennis Mikulanis was named an honorary prelate to the Holy Father in January. Monsignor Mikulanis is pas– tor of St. Charles Parish in San Diego as well as vicar for ecumenical and interre– ligious affairs for the diocese. He also will teach at USO in the fall.... Marc Pechtar is retired from real estate and he and his wife, Phyllis, are sailing the south Florida seas and the Caribbean. Marc writes: "As a USO student I was in the Navy at San Diego. UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Gerald Miranda, who received a certificate in international business from USO in 1998, has traveled to Belgium, Ireland, London and Venezuela as the principal accountant with Solar Turbines interna– tional business unit. Gerald is in his 16th year with the U.S. Navy Reserves, and the youngest of his four children is attending USO majoring in business and playing women's varsity soccer.
