LENDING A HAND TO SURVIVORS OF HAITI’S DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE When a 7.2 magnitude quake rocked Haiti in the early evening hours of Jan. 12, 2010, it was the strongest temblor the country had undergone since the 16th century. The capital city, Port-Au-Prince, was nearly leveled, and Haiti’s government was devastated.
