Meet The Toreros USD: Clayton Austin is a second year player that will once again compete for playing time with the offensive line unit at both guard positions... Last year played a key role with pass protection and run blocking as the Torero offense set numer– ous new school records including 42.6 points per game and 5,823 yards of total offense. Junior College: Played two seasons at Fullerton College... Last year was voted team's Most Valuable Offensive Lineman... Team was Golden Empire Bowl Champions... 2003 Mission Conference Champions and 2003 U.S. Bank Beach Bowl Champions. High School: Prepped at Villa Park HS where he was 2nd Team All-Century League senior year as defensive lineman... 55 tackles and 3QB sacks... Also lettered in wrestling. He prepped at Pioneer High School where he garnered First Team All-League honors in 2001 (team reached CCS Finals) and honorable mention status in 2000 (team reached CCS Semi-Finals}... Was a Central Coast Section Honorable Mention selection in 2001 ... Was a team captain his senior year and garnered Most Inspirational honors, both as a junior and senior... USD: Spencer Hollison is a first year player who is a projected starter with the offensive line unit at tackle... 2006 is the only year of eligibility with Toreros. College: Played three years at Washington State in Pac-10... Redshirt in 2002-03...Appeared in 11 games his sophmore year (2004-05) High School: Prepped at Santa Margarita HS where he graduated in 2002... All-Serra League honors junior and senior seasons... Started at right tackle in the CaliFlorida Bowl. Personal: Born on February 15, 1984 in Mission Viejo, CA... Parents are Ronald & Debrah Hollison of Santa Ana, CA... Chose USO for atmosphere, academics and football program... Also recruited by Colorado, Cal and Washington State. Major: Communications.
USD: Robert Jones enters his fifth and final year at USO where he will continue to compete or playing time at defensive back... Past two seasons has appeared in limited reserve role ... n 2003 chipped in with 14 tackles (7 solo) and two passes defended ... Had a season high five
ackles (three solo) and one pass defended against Marist... Totaled four tackles in game against Drake... Redshirted in 2002. High School: Prepped at Verbum Dei High School where he played under Coach Lalo Mendoza... Also lettered in track and baseball at Verbum Dei. Personal: Born on April 20, 1984 in Bellflower, CA... Did not play for the Trojans in 2003... From nearby Solana Beach, he prepped at Santa Fe Christian where he played for Brian Sipe... Senior year rushed for over 1,000 yards with team going 12-0 and winning CIF and State Championship... Named All-State,AII-CIF and All-Coastal League...
