HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in baseball playing at St. Francis Mountain View High School. ..as a junior he posted a .352 bat– ting average with two home runs, while earning a third-team AII-WCAL honor. ..as a senior he hit .378 with two home runs en route to earning a second-team AII-WCAL distinction. PERSONAL: Christopher John Viegas was born on Feb. 2, 1988.. .he is the son of Vic and Loren Viegas...was also recruited by Santa Clara and Arizona... chose to attend USO because of the location, education and strong baseball program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in baseball while playing at Horizon High School. .. helped his team win four consecutive Coastal League Championships ... as a sophomore he hit .415 and had an ERA of 0.18 en route to being selected as a first-team AII-CIF Division IV honoree... helped his team to the CIF Championship game as a junior...as a senior he posted a .525 batting average en route to being named first-team AII-CIF Division IV, second-team AII-CIF San Diego and first-team All-State for small schools... as a senior also took home Pitcher of the Year honors... also was standout on the basketball court helping lead is team to a state championsh ip and three CIF San Diego Championships ... also played football and helped his team get to the CIF Championship game. PERSONAL: Steven Winnick was born on Sept. 16, 1987... is the son of John and Dorothy Winnick.. .was also recruited by UC Davis, UC Irvine, Dartmouth , Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside.. .chose to attend USO because of the location, high standard of academics and because of the excellent baseball program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letter winner under Steve Hernan– dez at Redlands East Valley High School. ..was a three-time All-Citrus League honoree... as a sophomore he hit .390, as a junior he hit .450 and as a senior he hit .470. PERSONAL: Steven Chatwood was born on Sept. 20, 1987... he is the son of Steve and Lisa Chatwood ...was also recruited by UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Point Loma and Cal State Northridge... chose to attend USO because of the exceptional academics and baseball programs

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in baseball while playing for Dean Welch at Ramona High School. .. as a sophomore he hit .375 with one home run to earn first-team All-Valley League honors... as a junior he hit .500 with seven home runs en route to earning first-team All-State honors for underclassmen .. .as a senior he was named first– team All-American and first-team All-State after hitting .510 with 12 home runs .. .was also a member of the football team. PERSONAL: James Richard Meador was born on Dec. 9, 1987... is the son of Richard Meador...was also recruited by UCLA, Long Beach State and Arizona State...chose to attend USO because of the excellent baseball program and because of the academic reputation ... plans on majoring in business.
