Jazmine Blanchard was accepted to the graduate program in mechanical engineering at San Diego State University and began her studies in the fall of 2025. David Campos worked as an intern for General Atomics, a privately held defense and diversified technologies company. He is now working there as a legal assistant in San Diego. Naina Makkad , who served as president of the Society of Women Engineers, received two job offers prior to graduation and is now working in San Diego, as an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) engineer for BNBuilders, an employee-owned general contractor that specializes in highly technical commercial construction projects. Dominic McCarver worked as an intern for McCarthy Building Companies. After graduating from the University of San Diego, he received two job offers. He stepped into his new role as project engineer for McCarthy, one of the largest and oldest privately held construction firms in the United States. Christian Perez is working as an engineer at Pure Biomass in Encinitas, California. Gabrielle Ramseier will be starting a rotational program on the East Coast in January 2026. The four, six-month rotations are in the Operations Management Leadership Program at GE Vernova, a major global energy company.
Graciela Bustos (Sustainability) is working as a sustainability engineer in El Segundo, California, for Mattel, a leading global toy and family entertainment company. Aidan Lehman (Biomedical Engineering) landed a position at DPR Construction as a project engineer in Greenwood, Colorado. DPR is a technical builder that specializes in highly complex and sustainable projects with offices across the U.S. and abroad. Claire Hastings (Individual Plan of Study) received two job offers and is working as an engineer in McLean, Virginia, for Clark Construction, one of the largest building and civil construction companies in the United States. Siddarth Merchant (Sustainability) served as an intern for Bay Area Air Quality and is now employed as an air quality specialist for the company in San Francisco. Emmy van Witzenburg (Sustainability) worked multiple internships for Tetra Tech while at the University of San Diego. After receiving job offers from three companies, she accepted a position as a civil engineer at Tetra Tech in Irvine, California. Emiliano Rubio (Biomedical Engineering) is studying sports technology and sports science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
Jesus Rangel , a veteran of the U.S. Navy, accepted a position with General Atomics Aeronautics Division as an engineer in Poway, California, and has plans to pursue his master’s degree at San Diego State University. Industrial and Systems Engineering Paulina Gaitan Esguerra served as the co-president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and was an intern for Procter & Gamble (P&G) while at the University of San Diego. After receiving two job offers, she elected to relocate to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she is now working as a purchasing supply manager for P&G, a leading American multinational consumer goods corporation. Jana Halwani is attending graduate school at International University (IE) in Madrid, Spain, studying digital business and innovation. Kamila Isah is working in brand sales for IBM in San Francisco. Valeria Santos Sanchez recently returned from a four-month Semester at Sea adventure, where she traveled to 10 countries. She is currently working in sales and will begin a role as a quality engineer to further apply her engineering background. Leah Zelalem is working in Los Angeles as a field engineer at Turner Construction, one of the largest general contractors in the United States. Integrated Engineering Avery Aquino (Engineering and the Law) received two job offers and accepted a field engineer position at M.A. Mortenson in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mechanical Engineering Rafael Amon worked as an intern for Qualcomm, a leading global technology company. Post-graduation, he joined the firm in San Diego full time as a research associate.
