Jenkins completed her MBA at the top of her class in Summer 2023 and is looking forward to getting married at USD in January 2024.

Sydney Lew (EE) started working postgrad at Abbott as an electrical engineer. She works in the research and development division on the hardware and firmware teams at CardioMEMS (heart monitoring systems). She’s survived her first winter in Boston, Massachusetts, and is looking forward to exploring more of the East Coast.

Saul Ojeda (MS Cybersecurity Engineering) Saul is now a software developer at NAVWAR supporting the Navy’s digitization efforts. Tony Park (MS Cybersecurity Engineering) is the lead cybersecurity engineer for Terran Orbital, an aero space company in Irvine, California. He is also the founder of Temecula Web Solutions and a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

2021 Abdullah Alrayes (ISyE) became op erations manager at Gym Doctor Sporting Goods in Kuwait in 2022. In parallel with his professional duties, he continues to pursue his academic journey in business administration.

Jonas Petelo (ME) is currently work ing for General Dynamics NASSCO as a machinery systems engineer and pursuing a Master of Science in Me chanical Engineering at San Diego State University. Daniella Walter (ME) is in her third year of her PhD in mechanical engi neering at the University of Califor nia, Santa Barbara. She was awarded with the National Science Founda tion Graduate Research Fellowship in 2023, and her research looks at how extracellular matrix mechanics influ ence mammary tissue development and breast cancer progression.

SOPHIA AUSTIN

Devin Devlin (EE) achieved a career milestone as a product manager at Microsoft. Within nine months, Devlin received a promotion for exceptional performance working on Microsoft Excel. In addition, Devlin has taken on a leadership role within Blacks at Microsoft, supporting and mentoring underrepresented students in the STEM fields, empowering them to pursue successful careers.

ABDULLAH ALRAYES

Anthony Wilkinson (MS Cybersecu rity Engineering) continues to enjoy working in cybersecurity. Currently, Wilkinson works for Deloitte, deliver ing cybersecurity services focusing on identity and access management. 2022 Emina Belekanich (MS Applied Data Science) is a data analytics di rector at Symetra Financial, where she spearheads the utilization of da ta analytics for legal and regulatory decision making. Belekanich's ex pertise in navigating complex regu latory frameworks and driving stra tegic decision-making using data has earned her industry recognition.

2023 Leonid Shpaner (MS Applied Data Science) is a data scientist at UCLA's Health Clinical Translational Science Institute of the David Geffen School of Medicine. He also co-designed and instructs the Probability and Statistics course in Python for USD's Masters in Applied Artificial Intelligence program. Daniel Ley (ISyE) has graduated with a Master of Science in Opera tions Research Engineering from the University of Southern Califor nia. At USC, he received the award for Master's Student of the Year, for graduating with the highest GPA in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineer ing. Following his graduate educa tion, he started a position as a data scientist at Gap, Inc.

DEVIN DEVLIN

Bryce Fledderman (IntE) is current ly working for General Atomics supporting the manufacturing and testing of the largest supercon ducting magnets in the world. The magnets will be used for ITER, an international nuclear fusion research and engineering mega project in France. He also recently began pursuing an MBA at USD.

2022 Sophia Austin (IntE) started a new position upon graduating as an air quality engineering consultant at Ramboll. She was also recently spon sored by both Ramboll and an NSF grant to present her USD Honors
