He is also co-editing a book bridging insights of theologians and scholars of religion from Canada to Argentina on the future of synodality and Catholicism in the continent. Beyond USD, Professor Carmona recently completed service in the Diocese of San Diego’s Synodal Commission and the Board of Directors of the Society of Christian Ethics. He now serves in the Editorial Board of the Journal of Moral Theology .
