Sigma Chi

The Sigma Chi interna– tional fraternity was founded in 1855 at Miami University of Ohio. Since the founding, Sigma Chi has become one of the country's elite fraternities with more than 225,000 brothers. Sigma Chi has strived to instill in its members the high ide– als offriendship,justice, and learn- ing. USD's Theta Lambda Chapter was chartered in May, 1984. Since then, the fraternity has become an active and positive force in it's universtiy community. Many activities on campus include AS , IFC, as well as providing many other leaders in clubs and organi– zations. Bark at the Moon, Sweet– heart Ball, and Derby Days make up the social aspect of the frater– nity. Theta Lambda's success is attributed soley to the strength of the brotherhood of Sigma Chi.
