LOTS OF RACKET The Torero Tennis teamwas proud to have two of the top six players return to the lineup from last year's #21-ranked team: #1 Fredrik Axsater and #4 Emmanuel Udozorh. The team received newcomers who proved to be capable of com– peting in the top six positions, they included: Transfers sopho– moreRobert Pavliska-with "un– limited potentioal" and junior Rafael Escobar, a swift serve and volleyer.

With a 5-5 record at the be– ginning of the season, Head Coach Ed Collins said: "Our goal, as always, will be to do as well as we can." USD was proud to host the 23rd Annual San Diego Intercollegiates, one of the west coast's largest running men's college tennis events.

FREDRIK AXSATER IS BACK AGAIN-The 21 yr old senior from Sweden makes his mark on the court.
