WATER SKI CLUB The Water Ski Club gives students who are interested in water-skiing a chance to further their abilities and compete in inter-collegiate tourna– ments.
KARATE-DO CLUB The Karate-Do Club was founded in the fall of this academic year to give students a place to train in Karate. It is student run and the only martial arts club organized on campus. It is open to students, faculty, and staff mem– bers both male and female with any level of expe– rience. Because "Karate-Do" means "Karate as a way oflife", the club highlights Karate as a culture and education as well as a sport. It emphasizes Ryuei-Ryu an ancient, tradi– tional, and formerely a secret style of Japanese Karate. The insturctor, Dr. Murray Rudenberg, helps students attain strong mental and physical conditioning. Alongwith instructor Mr.Tsutomu Kuniyoshi, a Fourth Dan Back Belt in Ryuei-Ryu, Dr. Rudenberg incorporates self-defense instruc– tion for men and women along with the traditional training.
