The German Club

The primary goal of the German Club is to contribute to the students' under– standing of German culture. The vari– ous activities provide an out-of-class exposure to the German language and culture, such as the annual Oktoberfest in La Mesa, German cuisine, and parties. The club sponsors guest speakers, such as natives who tell about life in Ger– many, and students who spent the sum– mer studying and working in Germany. This club is not just for people studying German as a foreign language; it is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about a country full of culture and history.

The French Club Le Club Francais promotes the French language and cul– ture through lively activities such as a Christmas Party, Mardi Gras, and a talent show. It is the best way of living }'esprit francais .
