P hi Kappa Theta was founded April 21, 1889 to provide an intellectual, fraternal, spiritual and social orga– nization for men. For thirty-one years the Phi Delta Chapter has been active in all phases of campus life and was the first fraternity at USO. The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta strive for excellence through athletics, community service and academ– ics. Built on a firm foundation of leader– ship and brotherhood, the fraternity has had unparalleled tradition on campus. They were awarded the Founder's Cup in 1987 and have won the President's for three years in a row!

Com– munity service played an important role in the fraternity. This year the brothers provided security at the Linda Vista Cul– tural Affair and volunteered as physical education instructors at Linda Vista Jr. High. Phi Kappa Theta attributes its success to the continued development of brother– hood and an increasing focus on philan– thropic activities.
