Cross Country oach Richard Coto summarized this year's Cross Country team as "the best team I've had to coach in my five years at Usb." Attfiough nobody at– tended the NCAA Regionals in Fresno due to key injuries of several players, the men's team finished in fifth place and the women's team finished sixth. The team also prevailed at the Biola Invitational. Based on individual statistics of each run– ner, Max Lawson, senior, Julie Lemery, junior and Colleen McDonough, freshman, were chosen as the top runners for the men's and women's teams respectively. This year's team was very young, only one runner will graduate from both teams. Because of the potential tal– ent of this young team, Coach Coto is expect– ing promising seasons in the near future; a success that is sure to comel QI
