A:te you tired of the everyday scenery of our campus? Do you feel as if you're going to explode if you don't get away from all that stress? Do yoll like to ski, back– pack, camp, bicycle, rockclimb, and visit wilderness areas like Yo– semite and Catalina? Outdoor Adventures is a part of the USD Student Affairs and the office is located on the lower level of the University Center. The goals of Outdoor adventures are to provide service to the community of USD in the areas of bicycle re– pair, outdoor travel and equip– ment rental. Outdoor adventures has outings every weekend that you and your

friends are welcome to take part. Experience hot springs, a sauna cave, Indian petroglyths, and can– oeing on the crystal clear waters of Black Canyon. Backpack to the top of San Jacinto mountain over– looking Palm Springs. Pedal your way through the gently rolling countryside visiting wineries and savoring their fine wines. Exper– ience the thrill of drifting with the wind on a hot air balloon. Learn the daring sport of rock– climbing or snorkle in Lovers Cove on Catalina Island. These outings are designed to cater to your plea– sures and there is no better way to meet some fun loving people who enjoy the wilderness like you.

The Joshua Tree Rockclimb gives students the chance to challenge their physical abilities.

Black Canyon is known for its natun,J beauty and peaeefulness. Also, we manager to catch the OA staffat a rare moment, but believe it or not they make it all possible.
