The P.ublic ·11fei)' Of– fi~ a,.so;J\8lldles all lost and found items. The most important part t,f the officer's jo!Js is to protect the students' on campus. Many times students forget this fact.or. They don't pay attention to th~ great job that is. done by the officers. The officers 1Unployed have successfully prevented many crimes that !(:ould have happened on campus. Each officer and all d~ rt– ment personnel are qualified' to administer emergency First Aid and CPR. $tudents can .feel that they are being protected by first rate personnel all day a!'ul all'night. We must remember, though, that not ·every crfme can 1lil predicted ·or prevented. Our university's crime statistics are much lower than ma~ other campuses of our size. Every time students see a ~b . Safety truck pass by they shouldn't think of the p~ing ticket they just got but of how well they are being protected.

Whenever there is trouble on campus, Public Safety is always there to help out.
