Yearbook Philosophy

This yearbook is the work of a few (very few) dedicated individuals. Without them the production of this book would have been impossible. It is important to realize that members of the Alcala staff donate their time and energy and receive no payment or academic credit for their out· standing work. The following is a list of the dedicated few that produced the 1981 Alcala. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all very much, "I love ya, ya party animals now get outta here." Michael Fowlkes · When it came to photography Michael was tops, shooting sports, clubs, activities, and anything else that needed to be done. He spent many long hours in the darkroom keeping his hands on his chemicals and making all of Karen's bad pictures look good. Tom Kerson · Without Tom there would have been no good copy in this year's book. Tom wrote all the copy for all the clubs, sports, and activities, featured in Alcala '81. He kept us all laughing with his ever popular wit. Anita Wilson · Thanks for keeping me laughing when things looked so gloomy. But most of all thanks for being a friend. Your layouts were great and the trips to O'Connells were even better. Thanks for everything. Annette Gomez· Annette's assistance in the darkroom was spectacular. She stayed up one night until 3 a. m. to help us make our deadline. Thanks. Lisa Gualtieri · Lisa helped out in so many ways and was here until the end. She took pictures, worked in the darkroom and did layouts for the activity section. Thanks! Marianne Lynch E, Mary Krupa · Both these girls came through again when it came to the undergrad section. They spent many hours working on layouts and were a great help to me. And last but not least, thanks to my friends who put up with me during this very trying time. To my roommates Carol and Carmen who never saw me for an entire semes· ter, thanks for being there. O'Connell's here we come!
