. The 1979 season was the first ever for cross country at USO. Individual home meets took place on a 5-mile canyon course below the campus. The team is affiliated with NCAA Divi– sion I and Is a member of the WCAC Confer– ence. With both men and women on this team, Coach John Sanders was very optimistic In his outlook for the season. s
