In Figure 4, we look at the various trends across seasons for scoring, passing attempts, and rushing attempts. The "Average Score Across Seasons" graph reveals a consistent pattern: the average score for home teams consistently surpasses that of away teams throughout the observed period. Notably, the disparity between home and away scores gradually diminishes from around 2017 onwards, culminating in the smallest difference in 2020. However, after 2020, the trend shifts, with the discrepancy between home and away scores widening again. Particularly striking is the significant decline in average scores for away

teams during this period. Nevertheless, prior to 2020, both home and away teams generally experienced increasing average scores, with the gap between them remaining relatively stable. The "Average Pass Attempts Across Seasons" graph illustrates an interesting trend spanning from 2005 to 2024. Between 2005 and 2015, both home and away teams exhibited an increasing trend in average pass attempts. However, after 2015, there was a noticeable decline in pass attempts for both home and away teams. Although there was a slight uptick observed after 2023, the pass attempts only reached levels
