2025 USD New Faculty Orientation
DAY 4: COMMUNITY One of the key principles of the Catholic intellectual tradition and one of the foundational aspects of Catholic higher education is the commitment to community. USD strives to foster a diverse and inclusive community in which all members feel a strong sense of belonging and are empowered to thrive in every dimension of their lives. The final day of the August program of New Faculty Orientation includes sessions focused on efforts to build a vibrant campus community and to care for the well-being of all community members. The day concludes with an overview of Copley Library’s support and resources and closing remarks by the interim provost, followed by an experience of community – a luncheon with NFO speakers.
