FRISBEE CLUB Like, inits totally awesome s cond year, theUltimate Fris- bee Club provided a chance for students to participate in tubu­ lar competitive frisbee throwing. Led by Coach John Hopkins, the group sponsored inter- and intra-club competitions to pub­ licize the Frisbee Club and hone the fine skills of its members. GERMAN CLUB The German Club allows those interested in all phases of German culture to experience that culture and assimilate themselves into he German ways. Celebrating festivals such as the Gartenfest, the Weihnactfest, and the Oktoberfest, the club provided members and non-members alike with a taste of Ger­ many. ITALIAN CLUB The purpose of the Italian Club is to encourage and motivate young people to have a better understanding of the Italian culture, language and heritage. The Italian Club is proud to say that its membership has grown tremendously in the pastyear. The club is responsible for organizing the annual "Oldies but Goodies" Dance, lectures, Italian movies andfilms, pizzapar­ ties withtraditional music and atmosphere, as well as numer­ ous fundraisers are only a few examples of what the club makes available. They also have organized a soccer team called "I Campioni" after the WorldCup Italian Champs. One ofthe most important activities of the ItalianClub is their extensivetutoring program for Italian I, II, and III. The club ends their successful year with the annual presentation of awards to those students who have performed outstanding achievements in the studyof the Italian language.
